Small Beauty Haul/Homeware Haul

Hi lovelies, sorry I have been absent the last few weeks. I’ve had a very stressful few weeks, but I’m back with a small beauty and homeware haul. I am saving up so I can buy my own place and so I’ve been scouting around for little things to decorate the place. What I purchased the other day were two Candles, two cute plastic trees, a swan vase, two picture frames and small storage boxes. The candles are Vanilla Celebration and Birch Bark. The vanilla smells like freshly made birthday cake, if you could eat candles this one I would 100%. The birch bark smells like the autumn, little bits of caramel apple and fresh trees. I know that sounds like a weird combo, but it truly smell amazing.  The Swan Vase is beautiful, you stick a single flower of your choice in and it lasts for a few days. I love it and it will be the centerpiece of my new place. The storage boxes are cute and simple, brown with metal hardware and little slots to put labels.  Easy to stack and they look really nice. The pictures frames are just plain white, but I am planning on painting them I haven’t chosen a colour yet. It will most likely match the main room colour.

Now enough of that here is the fun part … The MAKEUP!! I went and made a small Avon purchase and a drugstore purchase. I started a new job so I thought why not treat myself. From Avon I picked up two eye shadow brushes. One crease brush and one regular brush. Two true colour single eye shadows in champagne and satin taupe, both are shimmer eye shadows and look great together or alone. They have a very soft feeling on the skin and I find they don’t irritate my eyes like some shimmers do. My favourite purchase from Avon was the eye shadow ink, I picked up always merlot. It’s a deep red with hints of blue and purples and I am so excited to wear it in the autumn. They offer mini toners and cleansing waters so I grabbed a few of those for traveling. The smell fresh an clean and leave a nice feeling clean feeling on the face. Lastly for Avon I purchased many hand creams because I get very dry cracked hands so I wanted to try them and see which ones worked best, at 99 cents I grabbed four and I am very pleased with how they make my hands feel. On to drugstore now, I picked up three eye shadows and a face moisturizer. The three shadows I picked up were, Bronze by total intensity and Out of the blue by the same brand. Cover girl bombshell shine shadow in copper fling and the moisturizer is Vichy Normaderm hydrating lotion (travel size).

I will be doing some candle shopping in the next few days and there will be a huge blog post on it so keep an eye out .

Thank you for reading
Emma
