A small but cute beauty haul
Hello Lovelies,
I went and did a little bit of shopping for some new beauty items to try out. The brands I picked up were ELF and Essence.
I have used ELF products for a number of years and have loved every single product. I wanted to try out the face primers that they had brought out. The one that stood out was the Clear Poreless face primer. It smells really nice and works really well. It keeps my face looking flawless all day, even on the hot days. At $8.00 I feel this primer is totally worth the price. The next product I picked up has been a hype in the makeup world lately: a highlighter. ELF makes a baked highlighter in many different shades. I grabbed Moonlight pearls and it truly is a lovely colour and with the primer it lasts all day. The highlighter was $4.00.
The other brand I fell in love with was Essence. They are cheaper makeup brand, but are great for a smaller budget. I needed a new blush so I tried out a pinky peachy blush. The colour is called Number 10 Heat Wave. You don’t need a lot of this as the blush is really pigmented. I use my Real Techniques brush the blend in the colour and give myself healthy glow. Essence also makes beautiful nail polish shades. I picked up a matte gray gel nail polish and it is better than some of the high-end nail polishes I have used in the past. I will be going back to grab more colours as I feel the need to collect them all! The polish was $2.99 and the blush was $4.99.
I will continue to use ELF and Essence makeup as I find they work so well with my pale skin and give me such a healthy glow. I know they are cheaper brands, but they are the best quality I have used.
I know this blog was a small one, but the next one will be a bath and body works haul.
Until next time, Emma
