Bath and Body Works haul
Hello,
Twice a year Bath and Body Works has a semiannual sale. Most products in the store are on sale for 50%-75% off and every year I am sucked into buying glorious things I don’t really need, but love nonetheless. My bill at the end of the day came to $111.00. I saved a total of $173.00. Most of what I love has been discontinued, but during the semiannual they bring back quite a few of my favourite items that are no longer available.
During this semiannual sale I picked up lotions, soaps and perfume.
The lotions I picked up were Dark Kiss, Sensual Amber and Beach Nights. All these lotions have Shea Butter and give my skin a long lasting soft feeling.
Sensual Amber is my go to scent. If I could only pick one smell this would be it. It’s one of the nicest lotions I have ever used and the scent is perfect. I love wearing this heavier scented lotion during the summer; especially summer nights. Sensual Amber has hints of lotus petals, golden amber and creamy sandalwood. I think this scent would suit most people, but it may to be too heavy for some. I paid $3.50 for each of these lotions. I also picked up the perfumes that go with these lotions just to tie it all together.
Dark Kiss is up next and, my god, it is glorious. This lotion is perfect for nighttime as it has a comforting smell. I have so many fragrance mists and lotions of this particular scent. Dark Kiss has hints of black raspberry, burgundy rose and dark vanilla bean. Every year I rebuy this because I go through so many during the year.
Cashmere glow is another one that gives a warm comforting feeling and fits nicely at the end of summer. This lotion will smell amazing on everyone; my friends wear it and love it just as much as I do. Cashmere glow has hints of vanilla, golden peach and cashmere musk. I have also bought many of these lotions as well.
Summer is not complete without a marshmallow bonfire lotion. I grabbed Beach Nights as it smells so good. It reminds me warm of summer evenings and I have many people asking me what I am wearing. Beach Nights is a warm blend of toasted marshmallow, sea salt breeze and creamy vanilla. I could only find one of these when I went shopping so I use it sparingly. I paid $4.00 for this one.
If you read my previous perfume blog, you would know how much I really love perfume. During the semiannual sale I had to indulge and buy another one. The large bottles of Forever Red were on sale for $18 instead of $45. I love wearing this perfume all year round and could not walk out of the store without it. This beautiful perfume has notes of pomegranate, red osmanthus and vanilla rum. Even when the perfume is all gone, the bottle is too beautiful to throw away.
Hand sanitizers are must for me in the summer. Every time I go into Bath and Body Works I always grab a few. The one I picked this time was Fiji white sands which smell like vacation. It smells of coconut and sandy beaches. I wish they would bring out a full line of this scent because it is truly amazing. The hand sanitizers are 50 cents each.
The one thing I have repurchased from Bath and Body Works is their hand soaps as they are some of the best I have ever used. The one I picked up this time was Black Cherry Merlot. I can’t describe how good this soap smells. It has dark cherry, black raspberry and merlot. These hand soaps leave your hands soft and smelling amazing. You can pick them up in either foaming hand soap or deep cleansing hand soap. The soap was $5.00.
Working at Bath and Body Works has opened my eyes to the world of fragrances. Everything I have ever bought from them has worked amazingly for me; they do not test any of their products on animals. It will always be my go to fragrance shop.
My next blog coming up next will be all about my most recent makeup haul, with some new beautiful products to try.
Until next time darlings,
Emma
