Skin Care for Winter weather

The winter weather that we have been experiencing here is ridiculous and it has taken it toll on my skin. A few years ago I saw that Garnier had come out with a Body lotion that lasted for 7 days. In my mind I thought alright let’s get some and try it out, well I have tried it out and well … I’m very happy with how my skin looks and how it feels. I picked up the dry, sensitive skin in the Honey scent. The lotion is fast absorbing and doesn’t have a sticky feeling afterwards. My whole body feels amazing because of this lotion.  Garnier has based this lotion off of probiotics found in yogurt and added soothing honey which helps stop the dryness and itchiness that sometimes my skin can give me. This lotion works really well for after you have shaved your legs, it brings back the moisture and makes your legs  feel soft and renewed.  But there is a catch, to get the 7 day soft feeling you have to apply it constantly everyday for 4 weeks before you can stop applying it to get that 7 day hydrated feeling on your skin. I found this out after reading the bottle. I would highly recommend this lotion to anyone, yes it seems like a chore to constantly apply it, but I promise you the results are amazing.

Since the weather has been so crazy around here I’ve had to up the skin care a bit, I’ve been putting heavier lotions on my face to keep from drying out. Now at the end of the day it comes down to how I can help my face even more. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter has come out with a creamy face wash and it’s one of the best I’ve used. First off it smells fresh and clean and it doesn’t have a chemical smell, which is a checkmark in my books and secondly the formula is perfect, it gently foams and really gets deep into the skin. It rinses really well too and it doesn’t leave any residue and sticky feeling. It does not irritate my face; it removes the oil, makeup and impurities from the skin and leaves a lovely soft fresh feeling. This face wash has Cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Evening primrose and Shea butter. It is 100% free of parabens, dyes. I am so happy with this face wash I purchased a few of them. I also highly recommend this product to anyone.
