New ELF products!

Over Christmas I decided to clear out my old makeup, and treat myself to some new products. I have struggled to find a good highlighting kit for my pale skin. ELF released a kit with the products I really wanted to try. This kit includes,  an illuminating palette, a highlight brush, and a whipped crème highlighter.

The powders felt very soft, so I was not sure how they would transfer to my skin. Applying them to the skin with the brush provided works perfectly.

The brush is soft and sturdy. With a larger domed head, the powder is picked up and distributed evenly onto the skin.

The whipped crème highlighter is a product I was nervous to try. Being a crème I did not know how it would sit on the skin or how it would last after a long day. After giving it some thought, I tried it. Honestly, I wish I had tried it sooner. It brings a beautiful dewy glow the cheeks and eyelids Does it last all  day? For me, yes it does and I am delighted.

Matte Lip crayons made a huge impact in 2017. ELF has quite a range of lip crayons. The crayons are moisturizing and have great colour payoff. Also with twistable lids, no need for sharpeners.

The colours I chose:

Rich red

Wine

Praline

Berry sorbet

Natural.

These lip products are perfect for all year round and fit into most makeup bags.
