Aromatherapy

Stress... In this day and age everything can trigger it. The best way I handle it is with meditation and aromatherapy. I recently uploaded a meditation blog explaining the best ways to release stress. Recently, I have discovered that aromatherapy also helps me.  For my aromatherapy I tend to lean towards relaxing lotions and hand sanitizers. My collection is quite extensive. All of these lotions are from Bath and Body Works. Since working there, I really got a change to try out almost everything they offer. Now, depending on my stress level, I may go for a lighter lotion. If it is really bad, I take the time to make sure I am relaxed.

The first Stress Relief lotion is Eucalyptus Spearmint. To receive the full effect of this lotion: rub into hands and breathe in deeply. I also use this all over my body to receive full relaxation. These lotions are full of essential oils and other natural fragrances.

The second lotion I go to is Eucalyptus Tea. I love this one. I carry it everywhere with me. It has a very light scent. The light scent of tea really helps me relax. Also, if I am having bad anxiety this lotion really helps to calm me down. I highly recommend this one and am going to repurchase this one very soon for myself.

Now, if you are looking for a slightly more masculine scent Bath & Body Works has come out with a Relax and Refresh Eucalyptus Basil. I cannot describe this smell as I find it smells different to everyone. I prefer to use this one before bed or right after the shower. The lotions also leave my skin so soft and fresh.

Lemongrass Cardamom, I leave in my desk at work as I find it really helps when I get stressed out. I know this scent may not be for everyone, but I really like this combination.

If I have forgotten my lotion or need a quick stress relief I grab my eucalyptus tea hand sanitizer. This I try to keep on me at all times, as some days get stressful.
